Your responsibility

If you are the owner of the property, YOU are responsible for the maintenance of all internal and external pipe work and any leaks within the boundary of your property. This is NOT the responsibility of your local water authority as many people think.

The Water Corporation is an independent organisation set up to raise awareness of water supply issues affecting properties within the UK. We provide advice and assistance to help homeowners, tenants and landlords, improve, repair, maintain and update their water supply systems.

We can find the source of any leaks, help you arrange a financial subsidy of up to £215 to pay for the repair and provide approved plumbers to carry out the work for you.

If you would like us to confirm the extent of your leak, we can visit your property and carry out an initial inspection. This is a FREE service, we do not charge for this. This will provide you with a report detailing the nature of the leak, the action needed to repair it, with a full cost breakdown and timing.
